A 49-year-old man from Eastern Province, who is nursing a tumour on his right shoulder has bemoaned the dysfunctional radiotherapy machine at the Cancer Diseases Hospital.
Wiseman Jere has told Diamond News that he has been unable to receive treatment the last two months after the machine broke down.
Mr. Jere who is temporarily staying at a relative’s home in Thornpark Township, has called on well-wishers to help him raise money to seek treatment elsewhere.
Diamond News is yet to get a response from the Cancer Diseases Hospital after a press query was sent to ascertain why the radiotherapy machine is non-operational.
