President Hakainde Hichilema is deeply concerned over increasing reports of illegal migrants in the country and Africa at large.

Speaking when he graced a workshop on Managing Security Resources in Africa, President Hichilema says the continent has witnessed a significant increase in terrorism, something that cannot be ignored.

He says there is need to combat terrorism and illegal migration by strengthening intelligence capabilities, enhancing border security and increasing cooperation as well as information sharing among security agencies.

And United States of America Ambassador to Zambia, Michael Gonzales, says there is need to develop strategies that will protect security for weaker nations.
