Felix Mutati and Douglas Syakalima have taken oath of office as Members of Parliament following their nomination by President Hakainde Hichilema.
Article 68 of the Constitution of Zambia, as amended by the Constitution of Zambia (Amendment) Act No. 13 of 2025, provides for not more than 11 nominated Members of Parliament, who are appointed by the President.
Mutati previously served as Minister of Technology and Science, while Syakalima served as Minister of Education.
