A 42-year-old teacher in Lumezi District is nursing serious injuries after his wife allegedly assaulted him, leaving him with a deep cut on his manhood.
Eastern Province Police Commanding Officer Robertson Mweemba says the matter was reported on 26th October 2026 around 10:30 hours.
The incident occurred on 25th October between 16:00 and 20:00 hours at a named school.
Brief facts indicate that a named husband gave his wife money to invest in a maize bran business in early October.
After three weeks in Lusaka, she returned home with changed behaviour.
On 25th October around 15:00 hours, a text from a man saved as “B Levy Phiri” was discovered on her phone, revealing an affair and exchanges of nude pictures.
When confronted, the wife broke the phone to destroy evidence, sparking a fight during which she allegedly pulled her husband’s manhood with her artificial nails, causing the skin to tear halfway.
The victim was rushed to Lumezi Mission Hospital where he was sutured and treated.
The wife fled the scene and Police have launched a hunt and investigations to bring her to book.
