Vice President Mutale Nalumango has announced that the 2027 National Budget speech will be read in Parliament on Friday, November 6, 2026, instead of Friday, October 30, 2026, as earlier scheduled.
Speaking as she was winding up debate on the proposed dissolution, maintenance and establishment of ministries in Parliament on Tuesday Mrs Nalumango says the postponement is necessary because government is still working on the budget.
