CHAINDA RESIDENT APPEALS FOR K5,000 MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

.

A 47-year-old man, Joseph Michelo of Chainda Compound, is appealing for financial assistance amounting to K5,000 to undergo a medical procedure after suffering from a tumour on his head for more than three years.

Mr. Michelo, who lives with his sister, says the condition began in February 2023 and has persisted to date.

He explained that he has undergone two operations at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH), but continues to suffer as the tumour keeps growing, causing severe headaches and pain.

Mr. Michelo said that during his last visit to UTH about three months ago, doctors advised him to undergo a CT scan costing K5,000, which he has been unable to afford.

He is now appealing to well-wishers for financial assistance to enable him to undergo further treatment, saying his condition has made it difficult for him to work and support himself.
