President Hakainde Hichilema, has held an official audience with His Majesty King Charles III at Dumfries House, the private Royal residence in Glasgow, Scotland.
The discussions centered on areas of mutual interest, particularly sustainable natural resource management a cause close to the King’s heart and rooted in the principle of living in harmony with nature.
President Hichilema has reaffirmed Zambia’s commitment to deepening partnerships with the United Kingdom in order to secure initiatives and financing that will support development projects, job creation, and sustainable economic growth for Zambians.
The Head of State who is in Glasgow with the First Lady expressed gratitude to His Majesty for his warm welcome, invitation, and gracious hospitality during their stay in Glasgow.
From Scotland, President Hichilema proceed to London for further engagements with UK Government officials and potential investors, aimed at unlocking tangible benefits and opportunities for the Zambian people.
