The Mineworkers Union of Zambia and Nkana Football Club have signed a K200,000 deal aimed at strengthening support for the Kitwe-based club over the next 18 months.
The deal signed at Katilungu House in Kitwe, includes 20 egg trays to be supplied every month by the union from its MUZ Eggs production line, to supplement the team’s nutrition during training camps and match preparations.
Speaking during the MoU signing ceremony, MUZ President Joseph Chewe believes these initiatives will bring people together, promote talent and contribute to the development of communities.
Nkana FC Chief Executive Officer Mwansa Kapyanga says the support will help improve the club’s operations and player welfare.
Nkana is set to open it’s 2026/27 MTN Super League campaign with a clash against Trident on October 3, 2026.
