A woman of Linda Compound Diness Mwansa is appealing for help for her four-year old son, Joshua Chibesa, who has been battling what doctors diagnosed as skin cancer since he was three weeks old.
Ms. Mwansa says Joshua’s condition has progressively worsened, leaving him unable to walk or talk and eventually affecting his eyes, resulting to loss of sought.
She says he has undergone several operations, including procedures to remove sores that developed on his face and eyes, but he continues to require medication which the family struggles to afford.
Ms. Mwansa is now appealing to well-wishers to help her husband secure employment and support the family with medication and rent, as his current piecework income is not enough to meet Joshua’s medical needs and support their other school-going children.
