Zambia’s Senior Women Handball Team has been crowned champions of the inaugural IHF Women’s Senior Championship after defeating Mozambique 26–19 in the final at OYDC Zambia.
The victory secures Zambia qualification for both the All-Africa Games and the African Cup.
Mozambique finished second, while Zimbabwe claimed bronze after defeating South Africa.
Malawi finished fifth after beating Namibia, with Lesotho taking seventh place ahead of Eswatini.
