SHARE YOUR MANIFESTOS WITH CHIEFS, AVOID VIOLENCE, POLITICAL PARTIES CHALLENGED

.

Eastern Province Chiefs Council Chairperson Chief Mnukwa has urged political parties contesting the 2026 elections to share their manifestos with all Chiefs and promote a non-violent campaign.

Chief Mnukwa says it is concerning that no political party has submitted their manifesto to palaces on how they will improve the livelihoods of the Zambian people.

The traditional leader believes that Chiefs are already in governance and would share the messages of political parties with their subjects through their structures and allow citizens to choose developmentally promising manifestos rather than the mudslinging campaigns being seen.

He says that political parties must give hope to Zambians and at all costs avoid violence but instead promote peace and unity among the people.
