MUMBA URGES LUNGU FAMILY TO BRING BODY HOME

.

New Nation Party president Nevers Mumba has urged the family of former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu to consider bringing his body back home as the country heads towards the general elections.

Speaking when he addressed the nation on the moral and political state of the country, Dr. Mumba says President Hakainde Hichilema’s decision not to attend the late president’s burial should be enough reason for the family to bring the body back home, labeling the delay as a national shame.

He also urged citizens to fight corruption through proper channels by reporting suspects to the Anti-Corruption Commission instead of holding press briefings.

He further noted that although Zambia is not yet where it wants to be economically, the country is not where it used to be, citing some level of improvement under the administration of President Hakainde Hichilema.
