
LUSAKA, The Government of Zambia, in partnership with the European Union Delegation to Zambia and COMESA, has announced the EU Zambia Lobito Corridor Business Forum, set for 12 to 14 November 2025 at Ciela Resort in Lusaka.
The high-level event will bring together over 300 Zambian and European businesses, investors, and international financiers to explore trade and investment opportunities in agriculture, energy, and mining along the Lobito Corridor.
According to Kusobile Kamwambi, Head of the Presidential Delivery Unit, the forum aims to strengthen Zambia EU trade ties while promoting sustainable and climate smart investments. EU Ambassador Karolina Stasiak emphasized that the initiative will drive job creation and tangible development under the EU’s Global Gateway strategy.
The Lobito Corridor, linking Angola, Zambia, and the DRC, is poised to become Africa’s first open access transcontinental rail line, enhancing regional trade and reducing logistics costs.
