MUNDUBILE, ZULU BAIL HEARING ADJOURNED TO NOVEMBER 5

.

The Lusaka High Court has adjourned to November 5, 2026, the constitutional bail application by opposition leader Brian Mundubile, his running mate Makebi Zulu and 16 others accused of treason, sedition and terrorism-related offences.

The adjournment followed a request by the State for more time to study the defence’s response to its opposition to the bail application.

High Court Judge Derrick Mulenga has warned that November 5 will be the final adjournment, directing that if either party is not ready to proceed, it will close the matter and deliver its ruling based on the documents and arguments filed.
