Russia has pledged to strengthen import and export cooperation with African countries to expand trade, improve access to international markets and deepen economic ties.
The commitment comes as Africa calls for greater investment to support industrialisation and economic development.
Africa is urging Russia to invest in local industries so the continent can process its raw materials, manufacture finished products and increase the value of its exports.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said was speaking during a press conference, which concluded a few minutes ago, at the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow.
