Prominent Constitutional Lawyer John Sangwa, SC, and former banker Ms. Dolika Banda have joined forces under the Movement for National Renewal (MNR) with intentions to contest future elections.
In a joint statement, the two say the partnership is built on a shared conviction that Zambia’s future must be reclaimed by its citizens not as spectators, but as active architects of a just, prosperous, and united Republic.
They say their collaboration is not driven by personal ambition or political convenience but by purpose, principle, and an urgent call for national transformation.
The movement has called on like minded Zambians from all walks of life to join what they describ as a national cause for renewal.
The Movement for National Renewal has set an immediate goal of mobilising one million supporters by 31st December 2025.
