PRESIDENT HICHILEMA APPOINTS MINISTERS, DEMANDS RESULTS AND ZERO TOLERANCE TO NON-DELIVERY

.

President Hakainde Hichilema has made new ministerial appointments following his re-election, assigning nominated Members of Parliament Roma Chilengi and Gilbert Siame to the Ministries of Health and Green Economy and Environment, respectively.

Former Finance Minister Situmbeko Musokotwane retains his portfolio, while nominated Member of Parliament Mulambo Haimbe returns to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Addressing the appointed ministers, President Hichilema issued a firm warning against prioritising personal interests over the needs of citizens, misusing public resources and failing to deliver results.

The President stressed that every kwacha belongs to the 21 million Zambians and must be spent prudently, with a focus on quality, value for money and timely delivery.

He further directed the ministers to uphold confidentiality, protect national interests and ensure that the Grow Zambia Agenda delivers tangible benefits across all sectors.

.

With a clear message of zero tolerance to non-delivery, President Hichilema challenged the new ministers to move beyond occupying offices and focus on producing results that improve the lives of Zambians.
