Scores of volunteer health workers in Mansa district have turned up for the Civil Service Commission’s document collection and verification exercise.
The exercise follows President Hakainde Hichilema’s directive during his recent engagements across the province to facilitate the recruitment of additional personnel into the Public Service.
The Civil Service Commission is in Luapula collecting and validating application documents from individuals identified for possible recruitment, with the verification process aimed at confirming the authenticity of their academic and professional credentials before appointments are made.
Many applicants described the exercise as a significant opportunity, expressing optimism that securing public service jobs would improve their livelihoods and help reduce unemployment in the province.
