Independent aspiring Mwandi Constituency parliamentary candidate Iris Kaingu has resigned from the United Party for National Development (UPND) and will continue her political journey as an independent candidate.
Ms. Kaingu says the decision was made after careful consideration, adding that her commitment to serving the people remains stronger than ever.
Ms. Kaingu says her resignation follows unsuccessful attempts to participate in the affairs of the party in Mwandi Constituency.
