The Zambian Government has assured the business community and cooperating partners of continued stability and business continuity before, during and after the forthcoming General Elections, in light of the recently approved 24-hour economy.
Speaking during the Special Ministerial Briefing of the African Diplomatic Corps in Lusaka, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Princess Kasune says Government remains committed to maintaining a stable and peaceful environment that supports economic growth, trade and investment.
Ms. Kasune notes that Zambia continues to prioritise economic diplomacy as one of the key pillars of its foreign policy, with a strong focus on diversifying the economy, attracting investment and strengthening trade relations.
She states that Government will continue engaging cooperating partners to promote Zambia as a hub for sustainable business, trade and investment.
Ms. Kasune further says elections remain cardinal to democratic processes, which help create an enabling environment for economic development and cooperation with foreign partners.
