Former Republican President, Edgar Lungu, has wished the Copper Queens good luck as they take on the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco in the second leg, final round of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games qualifiers being held in Rabat.
Speaking on a Facebook live stream, Lungu has urged the girls to believe in themselves so as to correct their mistakes made in the previous game and deliver qualification to the Olympics.
He says based on their performance in Ndola last week, he is optimistic that they will succeed in their second encounter.
Meanwhile, President Lungu has also advised Copper Queens Head Coach, Bruce Mwape, to listen to his heart as he makes decisions during the game, further urging him to encourage his lasses to believe in themselves.
The Copper Queens need to score two unanswered goals at the Prince Millay El Hassan stadium in order to secure their ticket to the Olympics which will be held later this year.
