The Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) has announced new measures to streamline the confirmation of examination results ahead of the August 13, 2026 General Elections.
Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka Friday, ECZ Executive Director Dr. Michael Chilala says the council has introduced an online platform, “2026 Election Confirmations,” accessible through its Self-Service Portal.
The system, launched on April 23, will officially be in use from April 27 to May 11, 2026.
The platform is designed to help aspiring candidates verify their Grade 12 certificates or equivalent qualifications, a requirement set by the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ).
Mr. Chilala says the platform includes sections for candidates with results from 1998 onwards, those with results before 1997, and individuals with foreign qualifications.
He says candidates will be required to upload relevant documents, including their National Registration Card, while fees remain at K100 for result confirmation and K30 for the confirmation letter.
The Commission says the initiative will improve efficiency, though service centres will remain open nationwide for support.
