The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is investigating former Agriculture Minister, Michael Katambo, over a suspected contract with former Tourism Minister Ronald Chitotela for the supply of 2,800 metric tons of white non – GMO maize worth over K575, 000.
Mr. Katambo who appeared before the commission this afternoon with his lawyer, Jonas Zimba, is alleged to have bought maize from Mr. Chitotela using proceeds of crime.
Lawyer Zimba confirmed the interrogation but could not give further details on the matter.
