The Football Association of Zambia has confirmed the departure of its General Secretary, Adrian Kashala, after nearly five years serving Football House.

FAZ President Andrew Kamanga says this follows his reinstatement and appointment in the Zambia Police as Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police and deputy Commanding Officer Paramilitary Battalion Unit.

Kamanga has since thanked Kashala for his service to the game especially in his role as General Secretary.

He adds that because of his vast experience in football the association will be open to engage him.

Following the changes FAZ Registrar Iva Lengwe will act as General Secretary for administrative convenience until the vacancy is filled.
