Two government teachers in Kasama District of Northern Province were on Friday February 17, 2023 caught drinking alcohol in Chibote area instead of attending to pupils in class.One of the teachers a Mr. Emmanuel Siame of Kasenda Primary School last reported for work in 2021 and since then he has never been seen on duty.The other Victor Siame a Headteacher at Kashinka primary school lasted attended his duties in December 2022.Kasama District Education Board Secretary Andrew Chipili who caught the duo drinking after a tip off from members of the community says the erring officers will undergo disciplinary hearing to pave way for appropriate action.
