Minister of Youth, Sports, and Arts, Elvis Nkandu, has encouraged artists in different fields to embrace financial literacy to contribute to the economic growth of the country.
Mr. Nkandu says the creative industry is vital to job creation and expanding the tax base.
The Minister adds that his government will enhance collaboration with artists to build a creative economy.
He has further encouraged players in the financial sector to collaborate with artists to enhance the national financial literacy agenda.
