Zambia U20 boys national team Coach, Chisi Mbewe, says the 4-2 defeat to Nigeria in an international friendly ahead of the 2023 U20 Africa Cup of nations has given the team an idea of what to expect at the AFCON tournament.
Speaking in an interview, Mbewe says he is elated by the boys’ response in training after the Nigeria defeat.
Mbewe’s charges take on Senegal this Tuesday in their last AFCON preparatory match.
They will later set up camp in Egypt to adapt to the Egyptian environment before starting their campaign at the continental showpiece.
