President Hichilema says he does not pay attention to naysayers who are against his foreign trips.

The President says his focus is to improve the lives of Zambians.

Mr. Hichilema says soon his critics will be able to appreciate his globetrotting because it is bearing fruits.

He made the remarks at ZAF base Airport in Lusaka upon arrival from United Arab Emirates where Zambia signed a memorandum of understanding MOU and a landmark Joint Development Agreement JDA with the United Arab Emirates for investment in the energy in Zambia.

The MoU and JDA will see the country’s power utility Company ZESCO partner with MASDAR, a key investment funding entity of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), to form a joint venture in developing and deploying large scale solar projects across the country, estimated at US$2 billion.
