Former Chipolopolo National Team Midfielder Clifford Mulenga says his selection by CAF as one of the TV commentators during the TotalEnergies Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) in Algeria is an indication of the vast opportunities that lie in the football industry.

Speaking to Diamond Sports, Mulenga says aside from showcasing one’s skill on the pitch or coaching, the football industry has various activities such as commentary and analysis, which one could flourish in.

Mulenga is among one of many African football legends such as Ghanaian John Paintsil, Ivorian Siaka Tiene & former Algerian star Nouredinne Bounaas, who will be part of CAF’s historic team of TV commentators at the CHAN, which is set to run from the 13th of January to 4th February 2023.

Meanwhile, the Football Association of Zambia is delighted to have one of the Zambian players recognized on the continental stage.

Zambia failed to clinch a spot at this year’s CHAN tournament after defeat to Mozambique in the last round of the qualifiers.
