The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) has disclosed that 3.89 billion dollars worth of investment was actualized from 27 projects monitored in the third quarter of 2022.
Speaking during a briefing in Lusaka, ZDA Acting Director General, Albert Halwampa, says over six thousand jobs have been created from the actualized investments.
Sectors which attracted investment include energy, mining, agriculture, health and manufacturing which recorded the highest value at 396 million dollars.
Mr Halwampa further adds that the country’s total export earnings increased from 2.82 billion dollars in the third quarter of 2021 to 2.83 billion dollars in 2022.
