Home Affairs and Internal Security Permanent Secretary Dickson Matembo says there is no information confirming the arrest of fugitive former Petauke Member of Parliament Emmanuel Jay Jay Banda.
Mr Matembo says the relevant authorities will communicate with the public if any new information emerges.
This follows speculation that Mr Banda, who has been on the run, has been arrested.
