Thousands of people in the newly created Sinazongwe Constituency in Southern Province have endorsed Sinazongwe District Commissioner Nchimunya Siakole as their preferred candidate for Member of Parliament.
Speaking during an endorsement programme held at Malima Primary and Secondary School, more than 300 village headmen from seven wards described Mr. Siakole’s contribution to the district as significant.
They expressed confidence that, once elected as Member of Parliament, he would deliver meaningful development to the constituency.
And Sinazongwe Council Chairperson Cliff Siachibweka called on residents to support Mr. Siakole, saying he has already demonstrated his ability to deliver development through the works he has undertaken as District Commissioner.
Meanwhile, Mr. Siakole assured the thousands of people who attended the programme that he would work tirelessly to improve the welfare of residents in the newly created constituency.
He highlighted key priorities such as the construction of school infrastructure, establishment of boarding schools, and improvements in the health sector, among others.
