PRESIDENT HICHILEMA TO ATTEND KING MSWATI III’S RUBY JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS IN ESWATINI
President Hakainde Hichilema is expected to travel to the Kingdom of Eswatini on Sunday, 26th April 2026, for an official visit at the invitation of His Majesty King Mswati III.
The visit will see President Hichilema join other Heads of State and Government in Mbabane for the monarch’s Ruby Jubilee celebrations, marking 40 years on the throne alongside his 58th birthday.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mulambo Haimbe says,the engagement underscores the strong and longstanding bilateral relations between Zambia and Eswatini, rooted in shared values and mutual cooperation.
The President is expected to return to Zambia immediately after concluding his scheduled engagements.
He adds that the invitation extended to President Hichilema reflects the warm and enduring ties between the two countries, emphasizing continued collaboration and diplomatic goodwill between Zambia and Eswatini.
