
Copper Queens head coach Nora Häuptle has laid down her duties as head coach, withdrawing from participating in the upcoming FIFA Series in Brazil.
In a statement shared on her official LinkedIn account, Nora has cited the need for a unified, structured Zambian Women’s Football strategy built on high performance standards to keep the team sustainably competitive at the highest level.
The coach has anchored her manifesto on three pillars Love, Unity and Passion stressing that all stakeholders must align their interests to serve the players first and leave a lasting legacy for future footballers in Zambia.
Her statement tagged key football bodies including FIFA, CAF, the CBF, Canada Soccer, and the Korea Football Association, signalling that her concerns are directed at the broader football ecosystem surrounding the Copper Queens.
Coach Nora said she remains available for further negotiations and dialogue with team leaders to help set a foundation for the team’s bright future.
