The Zambia National Futsal team has booked its place to the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, following a commanding 2-0 victory over Ghana in the second-leg qualifier.
Patrick Banda opened the scoring in the second period before Musa Chiwaya sealed the qualification with the second goal, giving Zambia an 8-6 aggregate victory, after the 6-all draw first leg in Ghana
This will be the team’s fourth futsal AFCON appearance, having first qualified in 2008 with their best performance being fourth place in 2016.
