Former First Lady Vera Tembo Chiluba has urged Zambians to turn to prayer, citing Psalm 54, and to seek God’s vindication amid the country’s current challenges.
Mrs. Chiluba made the remarks during a courtesy call by University of Zambia Student Union (UNZASU) President Mwato Kabaso, where she emphasised the importance of divine intervention in addressing Zambia’s difficulties.
She said the nation needs to seek God’s guidance and support to overcome the challenges it is facing.
Mrs. Chiluba also reflected on her late husband, Frederick Chiluba, Zambia’s second Republican President, describing him as a great man whose legacy continues to inspire her.
