The ERB has revised downwards the pump prices for all petroleum products for the month of November 2025.
This follows the appreciation of the Kwacha against the United States Dollar and a relative decline in international oil prices.
According to the statement issued by ERB Board Chairperson James Banda says with Petrol now selling at K28.97 per litre from K30.58, Diesel at K25.35 per litre from K26.20, Kerosene at K23.26 per litre from K24.78, and Jet A-1 at K24.84 per litre from K27.11
Mr. Banda says the Kwacha strengthened by 7.95 percent from K24.15 to K22.23 per US Dollar since the last price review on 30th September 2025.
Meanwhile, the international oil price of Petrol fell by 2.91 percent, from US$76.22 to US$74.00 per barrel, while Kerosene and Jet A-1 prices also dropped slightly.
The ERB says the combined effect of the appreciating Kwacha and lower oil prices internationally influenced the decision to adjust pump prices downward.
Meanwhile, Posted Airfield Prices (PAP) at international airports have also been revised, with Kenneth Kaunda International Airport and Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport now pegged at K24.84 per litre, Mfuwe International Airport at K28.08, and Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport at K25.65.
The new prices take effect at midnight on 31st October 2025 and will remain in force until the next review.
