Zambia men’s national team will, on September 23 and 26, 2022, face Mali in two FIFA international friendlies.
This is part of preparations for the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The team comprising of local players, left for Bamako, Mali on Monday and will be joined by foreign-based players in Mali.
Assistant Coach Moses Sichone says the coming games will help the coaches know which players are fit and ready to play for the country.
Meanwhile, Midfielder Joshua Mutale says making the squad is motivation and being part of the senior men’s team is a dream come true.
