Kansanshi Mining Plc (KMP) $1.2 billion S3 Expansion project has registered progress.
KMP General Manager Anthony Mukutuma says an estimated 1800 jobs will be actualized following the assembling of earth-moving machines.
Mr. Mukutuma adds that the S3 expansion project is expected to be completed in May 2025.
The expansion project is expected to increase copper production to 280,000 tonnes once completed.
