The Zambia Table Tennis Association is in panic mode as the National Table Tennis Team’s outing to the Senior African Championship remains in question.
Association President, Mutale Ng’andu, says he is anxiously waiting for response from government concerning the travel arrangements of the team to travel to Tunisia on Saturday, 9th September 2023.
However, Ng’andu is positive that the team will travel, saying government has never failed the association.
Meanwhile, efforts to get government response on this matter proved futile as the Minister’s phone went unanswered.
The Zambia Table Tennis Association provided a k600,000 budget to government for transport and logistical costs for a 9-member entourage expected to travel for the tournament.
