ZESCO United Football Club has parted ways with its Chief Executive Officer Kelvin Mutafu and suspended Head Coach Emmanuel Siwale and First Assistant Coach Clive Hachilensa in a sweeping leadership overhaul.
The club has announced Mutafu’s departure with immediate effect, citing an unsuccessful probationary period. James Ngoma has been named acting CEO on a caretaker basis.
Siwale and Hachilensa have been temporarily suspended following an ongoing review of the club’s technical setup and overall performance.
Winston Kalengo, Mwape Mwelwa, Jacob Banda, Emmanuel Mschili, and Kondwani Mtonga will take charge of the technical bench in the interim.
In a statement, the club says the decisions were made after careful consideration and in the best interest of stakeholders, reaffirming its commitment to restoring strong performances.
