The Zambia Electricity Supply Company has announced that load shedding has ended in the country.

Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka, ZESCO Managing Director, Victor Mapani, has attributed the reduction to increased water levels at Lake Kariba.

Eng. Mapani adds that rehabilitation of the 108 megawatts Victoria Falls Hydro Power Station has been restored to full capacity.

He further says any area experiencing loadshedding has a minimum of less than an hour.
