Zambian youth leader James Muleya has been appointed as the country’s delegate to the United Nations (UN).
In this role, Muleya will represent the voices and aspirations of Zambian youth on international platforms.
The appointment was made by the Minister of Youth, Sport, and Arts, Elvis Nkandu.
In his letter of appointment, Minister Nkandu cited Muleya’s dedication and positive impact on youth development in Zambia as the reason for his selection.
Reacting to the news, Muleya described his appointment as an inspiration to young people across the country, emphasizing that dedication and hard work can open doors to both national and international opportunities.
