
Zambia has delivered an outstanding performance at the All Africa Senior Squash Championship
being held in Kampala, Uganda, winning a total of six medals.
The men’s singles event has seen a Zambian clean sweep, with Elvis Ngosa winning gold, Kondwani Nsonge taking silver, and Manda Chilambwe earning bronze.
The men’s team has also secured a bronze medal, while Egypt has claimed gold and Nigeria silver.
On the women’s side, Christine Mwachambo has claimed bronze in the singles event.
Egypt and Nigeria have finished first and second in both categories, respectively, while the Zambia women’s team has finished third, claiming bronze.
National Olympic Committee Of Zambia (NOCZ) President Alfred Foloko has praised the athletes for their discipline and determination, reaffirming the committee’s continued support for sports development in Zambia.
