The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) has disclosed that the country recorded actualized investments worth 122.01 million dollars from 11 ventures in the first quarter of 2023.
ZDA Director General Albert Halwampa says the actualized investment created 2,765 jobs in various sectors of the economy.
Mr. Halwampa adds that the energy sector received more investment pledges worth 8 billion dollars, followed by the manufacturing sector at 252 million while agriculture totaled 79 million dollars.
Mr. Halwampa was speaking during a media briefing on highlights for the first quarter of 2023.
