Zambia has with immediate effect lifted all COVID-19 travel related restrictions for entry into the country.
Zambia National Public Health Institute Director General Professor, Roma Chilengi, says travelers to Zambia will no longer be required to provide proof of vaccination or PCR test results.
In a statement availed to Diamond News, Professor Chilengi adds that Zambia will continue detecting and tracking cases of COVID-19.
He has also encouraged travelers not to slacken on the vaccine as it remains the most effective way to neutralize the covid-19 pandemic.
At the peak of the pandemic a number of restrictions in different sectors were put in place to curb the spread of the pandemic.
