The 2012 Afcon winning Chipolopolo Legends have beaten the Barcelona Legends by 3 goals to nil in an exhibition match played at a sold-out Heroes Stadium.

Collins Mbesuma, James Chamanga and Clifford Mulenga scored to give Zambia the win.

The match was preceded by a standing ovation for World Cup and Balon D’or winner Ronaldinho, by fans.

It took Zambia 6 minutes to find the back of the net when Mbesuma took advantage of a defensive error by Barca.

The second goal of came through striker James Chamanga in the second half of the game, shortly before Kalusha Bwalya created an assist to Clifford Mulenga who sealed the 3-0 score line for Zambia.

The Barca Legends are expected to tour the Victoria Falls in Livingstone tomorrow, before leaving the country over the weekend.

And Minister of Sport, Elvis Nkandu, has assured the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations winning team, the Chipolopolo Legends, that this is not their last engagement with the Ministry of Sport but just the first of many yet to come.
