
Lusaka businessman Valden Harry Findlay has been released on police bond after being arrested on an espionage charge.
His lawyer, Milner Katolo, confirmed to Diamond News that Findlay was granted a K100,000 kwacha bond with a surety in the like sum.
Findlay was apprehended on Tuesday and held at Kabwata police station.
He is expected to appear in court on April 17, 2026, facing one count of espionage contrary to Section 3(2) of the State Security Act, Chapter 111 of Zambia’s laws.
