The United Party for National Development (UPND) has warned its members against taking the law into their own hands.
Party Media Director Mark Simuuwe has urged members to follow the right channels instead of resorting to acts of vigilantism, regardless of the circumstances.
Mr. Simuwe was responding to an incident in which UPND youth officials in Chinsali allegedly threatened a contractor, HASOP, engaged to renovate the Chinsali Main Market ablution block under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The threats were reportedly triggered by alleged insults against the President made on Radio Delight FM, owned by contractor Harrison Phiri.
