The ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) has urged the Zambia Police Service to expedite investigations and reveal the true identities of the individuals who organized and carried out the violent attack at the Patriotic Front (PF) Secretariat on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
The incident left some people injured and caused damage to property.
Speaking during a press briefing, UPND Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa strongly condemned the act, describing it as thuggery.
He says President Hakainde Hichilema and the Party did not sponsor the attackers, even though they wore UPND regalia.
Mr. Mweetwa has further called for the police to conduct their investigations without any political interference.
